Delicate doodles - Collaboration

Hello readers!

Long time no see, like reeeeally long time, sorry for that but there's been some changes in my schedule and I'm still adjusting. I can't really find my words because I feel sorry I haven't posted this last Saturday but I hope you won't be too harsh with me. Sometimes life happens. I really like this project and I like writing and posting but sometimes I can't find the time to do it properly - if only a day would have like 48h ^^

Anyways this manicure is part of the 31 weeks collaborationa and the theme is delicate print. This theme kinda gave me a hard time but I've managed to do some doodles and I'm quite pleased with the result. I don't know if it qualifies in this theme but I'm not really a stickler for rules.

Different Shades of Blue Challenge - Ruffian (First attempt)

Hello ladies!

It's time for a new manicure from the Different Shades of Blue Challenge. I hope you aren't getting tired of so much blue but think that it's for a good cause i.e. autism awareness. So todays theme is blue ruffian and I was very excited about it because I have never tried this design before on my nails and I was quite curious how it would look because of the shape of my nails (which is not that straight).

It's quite easy to achieve this look you first have to paint your nails white then place the french strips near the cuticules, then add the blue and you're done.

Different Shades of Blue Challenge - Joined opposites

Hello ladies!

As promised today I have for you another manicure from the Different Shades of Blue Challenge. The theme is puzzle pieces and I have to admit that I'm not that good at geometric designs so I've kept it simple. I've split the nails in two then added the dots and that's it. Simple right? And let me tell you the effect is awesome. I love it!

The design does look better in real life I don't know why :)) Anyways I'll try to post tomorrow some pictures in natural light (if I don't smudge them in my sleep ^^)

I was thinking of starting with some apologies and excuses but you've already heard that more than once. Anyways the fact is that beeing sick for a week now is depressing and yesterday I really wasn't in the mood for nails at all, no inspiration, nothing. So I've postponed my post for today hoping that I'll be in the right place. That didn't happen :)) but I've managed to come up with something so I hope you'll like it!

Different Shades of Blue Challenge - Rainbows

Hello lovelies!

Today is another special day for my blog ^^ I've recently joined a Facebook group and the ladies over there are so welcoming and lovely. I'm glad that from now on I'll be able to participate to different challenges and I'm sure that it will improve my nail art skills a bit. So currently the Different Shades of Blue Challenge is taking place and today's theme is rainbows. I've missed the first theme because of the flu and it's frustrating 'cause I had a pretty idea. Anyways, here is my manicure:

This watercolor technique is growing on me, you can get some pretty interesting effects with it. In this particular manicure I wanted to emulate the sky.

Grey fumes - Collaboration

Hei girls!

I guess spring has not made it's way through us yet. I really like sunny days so this cloudy weather is kinda wearing me down, you can see that in today's nails. This Saturday's theme is inspired by a book and I have to admit that I'm a cheater. :)) I've almost literally transposed the title to my nails and I haven't read the book yet, I've borrowed it from the library yesterday and I'm going to...promise! So I was "inspired" by "Fifty Shades of Grey" - E.L. James, by the title to be exact, I've heard that it's a bit controversial but I will give it a go. ^^

Se pare că primăvara nu și-a făcut aparitia și pe la noi încă. Iubesc zilele însorite așa că vremea asta mohorâtă mă cam deprimă, după cum se poate vedea și pe unghiuțele de azi.

KKCenterHk Review - Studded flowers

Today I have for you a different kind of post, a review of some studs from KKCenterHk. These are my first studs and I'm very excited to use them. I guess when we all see studs we think of that rocker chick style, well that's no really my style so I've sweeten the mani as you can see in the pictures below.

My nails are still blue, but I really really wanted to show you a mani that I wore last week. I have to admit I kinda like all things vintage so when it comes to all those cute prints and fabrics I can't resist! Also the fashion trends back in the day were just gorgeous and so feminine with all those floral and delicate thingys ^^

Unghiile mele sunt tot albastre, dar am ținut neapărat să vă arăt o manichiură ce am purtat-o săptămâna trecută. Trebuie să recunosc că îmi plac lucrurile cu un aer vintage, așa că atunci când vine vorba de toate acele imprimeuri și țesături drăguțe nu pot resista!

We can raise awarness

As I was saying in my previous post, today is the World Autism Awarness Day and if you wonder of what you should be aware is that autism is not contagious, it affects the ability to comunicate and relate to others and that only through lot of help and treatment a child can get to live an independent adult life. So don't rush to judge some kids or their parents because they're different and have a difficult behavior.

După cum vă spuneam în postarea anterioară, azi e Ziua Internațională a Conștientizării Autismului și  dacă vă întrebați ce ar trebui să conștientizați azi - e că autismul nu este o boală contagioasă în primul rând,  ea afectează abilitățile de a comunica și relaționa cu cei din jur și că doar prin mult ajutor și tratament un copil poate ajunge să ducă o viață adultă independentă.

Electric blue is always perfect

Today I have for you blue nails which are not mine but I wanted to show them to you because I like how they came out. The design is easy to do and the nails look cute, I think and how tomorrow's the International Autism Awareness Day (blue is the color of this day) I thought they would be appropriate. Only tomorrow I'll be posting my blue nails but I would also like to see that you too take part to this initiative of wearing blue on your nails or not only. It's a nice gesture through which we can raise awareness.

Azi am pentru voi unghii albastre, nu sunt ale mele, dar am ținut să vi le arăt pentru că tare îmi place cum au ieșit. Sunt așa simpluțe de făcut și arată drăguț, zic eu și cum mâine e Ziua Internațională a Conștientizării Autismului (albastru fiind culoarea vedetă) m-am gândit că ar fi potrivite.
