After starting the week in a summerish mood, in the hopes of some good energetic vibes (so much needed for a Monday), I thought it would be best to end it in a winterish ensemble. After all, we still have about a month or so of cold weather. At least a little bit of snow would be nice, just a bit, 'cause we barely had any this winter. With that in mind I did this manicure, maybe the last winter nails for this season. So cheers to that!
Now you may think all this big talk about winter but where's the winter nail art?! Well there isn't any, I didn't have the time for someting more elaborate, but the color scheme still fits so yeah, for me it's a winterish manicure. Now, that we got that out of the way, let's talk about this floating french trend that it's supposed to be a thing in 2015; I for one am excited about it. You can create all sorts of interesting looks that are really easy to achieve, just supply yourself with enough french stickers and you're good. Apply them in any way but the old fashiond way and you'll be rocking the floating french trend. I'm planning of doing more combo's of this!
As a base color I've used Revlon - Blue Lagoon, you can see a review in Summer Blues and yes, I said it is a summer shade but in the right combo can turn out to be a winterish one too. Although I was quite delighted by it, now I'm rather dissapointed. It made a loooot of bubbles (ughh) and it didn't even out that well. All this may be because I've had it for a while now, but I have other polishes far "older" that are in great shape, so I don't know what happened. Anyways for the side french I used my eternal Golden Rose JJ glitter, you simply cannot go wrong with it!
That's all for today, I hope you like this manicure.
Please do share your thoughts about this trend. I would love to hear your take on it!
Have a wonderfull weekend!
