What is one to do when one has to study? Do something else that seems very important....yeah sure; doing nail art is crucial (hear my sarcasm here). So today, I indulged in some recreational activities such as mixing nail polishes to create new ones. That sounds fuuun! I took one Rimmel London Alaska - presented in Alaska (Dotticure) and a brown Farmasi Shimmer #208 and the result is what you see in the photos.

Don't think I've gone "nude" in my blogging hiatus, I do my nails once a week or maybe twice but taking photos in good light is the tricky part.

[EN] - I don't know about you, but I'm loving these summer days! I don't mind the heat, I love it! I wish I could live in a never-ending summer ♥. Okay, enough of that...lets talk naaails! I seriously can't get enough of this color/nail polish. You can see it in Summer blues and reviewed in Negative space trend (fun fact: the last time I wore this nail polish was during my exams session, just like now). Anyways, I say it's a must have for this summer.

[Ro] - Salutare fete dragi! Nu ştiu voi, dar eu iubesc zilele de vară! Nu mă deranjează căldura deloc, aş trăi într-un loc unde e vară mereu. Eh... să revenim la oile noastre şi să vorbim despre unghii! Trebuie să recunosc, nu mă pot sătura de această ojă/culoare. O puteţi vedea în Summer blues şi în Negative space trend unde i-am făcut şi o recenzie. Tocmai mi-am dat seama că ultima dată cȃnd am purtat această ojă, eram tot în sesiune ca şi acum :)) se vede la ce îmi stă mie capul. Vă recomand o asemenea ojă în colecţie, nu veţi regreta.

Throwback - My favorite nail art and the most productive period

Last week I took part in a challenge and it reminded me of my glorious days :)) I was most productive when I was participating at no more than 3 challenges at a time. I was quite the busy bee and I loved it! But having to come up with some many designs and having to stick to a timeline it took a tool on me eventually. By the time the university started I felt like I needed a break and so I quietly stepped out of the challenges world. And almost two years later here I am ^_^

After starting the week in a summerish mood, in the hopes of some good energetic vibes (so much needed for a Monday), I thought it would be best to end it in a winterish ensemble. After all, we still have about a month or so of cold weather. At least a little bit of snow would be nice, just a bit, 'cause we barely had any this winter. With that in mind I did this manicure, maybe the last winter nails for this season. So cheers to that!

The biggest wish I have for this blog is keeping up with the regular posting, because I often find myself wishing I had more time to dedicate to this hobby. So, here's to hoping!
Today's manicure is just a simple swatch, of a gorgeous nail polish: Avon Stardust Collection ~ Teal glitter. I have already reviewed a different one from the same collection in my last post so I won't go into so many details as usual.

I hope you all had a wonderful time this Christmas! As usual, I was so busy before the holidays, that I didn't get the chance to prepare a post with my Christmas nails; you actually didn't miss much as I wore a simple red manicure.
Let's focus on more pressing matters, the New Year's Eve nails. It is an ocassion were glamour and "bling" should be mandatory; just for the fun of it, if you're not a fan of such things. Of course you should feel special even without these tricks, but if they're at your disposal why not use them? So for NYE go all out! Make-up, nails, clothes, hair, etc. make them shine! But don't get me wrong, don't light yourself up like a Christmas tree, keep it classsy ^^

It seems like the weather is treating us well; it's so warm & fuzzy in my neck of the woods, that it would be perfect to sit on a porch somewhere with some steamy hot chocolate beside me, just enjoying the sun. I'm pretty psyched of today's manicure, the outcome has exceeded my expectations. You know why? Because working with glitters is always fun, you think you know how everything will "go down" but you end up surprising yourself. It may seem that pairing this particular glitter with a nude it's a no brainer but honestly it looks like they belong together. With that in mind I'm planning to combine this copper glitter with the most unexpected shades you could think off, just to see how it would work. I've been playing on the safe side for too long, it's time for some real action!

So, it snowed here, in Cluj! Actually, my timing is a little off 'cause it snowed last week, now it's so sunny it feels like summer.... this weather! Anyways, I was waiting for this so I could "crack" open this bottle of nail polish that was sitting unused since last summer. I thought it would go perfectly with the snow outside, but what do you know it melted already! Great!

KKCenterHK review - Luxuriant flowers

If you're wondering why I chose this particular title, or maybe you're not but I felt the need to explain myself anyhow. These water decals, because that's what they are (I'm not that talented to freehand something like that) make me think of a tropical forest, hence the term luxuriant vegetation/flowers or lush. I have to confess, this mani made me stare at my nails ceaselessly (I sometimes use google translate=> strange words :)) )

My "mojo's" back! Sort of, if at the end of last year I was feeling uninspired and in no mood for blogging this month is quite the opposite. As a result, I've joined yet again to The Nail Challenge Collaborative, after a few months of absence. The theme for January is inspired by a tutorial, it's a really cool subject and the amount of tutorials out there is incredible. There are a few blogs I like to follow and Paulina's Passions is one of them. She has this beautiful manicure and a tutorial for it called Roses Nail Art Tutorial. You should check it out, it was my inspiration for this manicure, altough hers are sublime, mine need a little more practice.

If you're wondering what I've been up to, well not much. Over the holidays I spent a lot of quality time with family and friends, indulged in sweets and movies, just the good old fashioned relaxation.
