Throwback - My favorite nail art and the most productive period

Hello ladies!

Last week I took part in a challenge and it reminded me of my glorious days :)) I was most productive when I was participating at no more than 3 challenges at a time. I was quite the busy bee and I loved it! But having to come up with some many designs and having to stick to a timeline it took a tool on me eventually. By the time the university started I felt like I needed a break and so I quietly stepped out of the challenges world. And almost two years later here I am ^_^

Ice Queen

Hello ladies!

After starting the week in a summerish mood, in the hopes of some good energetic vibes (so much needed for a Monday), I thought it would be best to end it in a winterish ensemble. After all, we still have about a month or so of cold weather. At least a little bit of snow would be nice, just a bit, 'cause we barely had any this winter. With that in mind I did this manicure, maybe the last winter nails for this season. So cheers to that!

T.P.A. - Autumn flowers

Hey ladies!

I promised you in my last post (A hot accent on a cold mani) that I will show you autumn on my nails but I didn't want to do something stereotypical like fiery leaves and naked trees or seasonal fruits (I'm not very good at that), so I went with what I do best: flowers and I picked chrysanthemums. All this came along perfectly with today's theme of the The Polish Addict Group Challenge - A season.

V-am promis în ultima postare (A hot accent on a cold mani) că vă voi arăta toamna pe unghiile mele, dar nu voiam să fac stereotipurile acesteia, cum ar fi frunzele în nuanțe de foc și copaci goi sau fructele sezoniere (nu prea mă pricep la asta), așa că am mers pe ce știu eu să fac mai bine: flori și am ales crizantemele.

Oh, happy days! Soon my vacation will be over and I'll go back to the university, so I'm trying to enjoy these days as best as I can. I hope that my activity on blog will remain constant though. Today we are talking about the Polish Adict Challenge and we have a pretty theme named A Flower.

I thought I won't be able to finish all four manicures from the Around the world theme (if only August would have had more days), but with the help of my friend D. who gladly "gave" up her nails for experimentation, I'm presenting you today manicure #4 representing my home country Romania.

Credeam că nu voi apuca să termin toate cele patru manichiuri din tema In jurul lumii (dacă ar fi avut August mai multe zile ce bine ar fi fost), dar cu ajutorul prietenei mele D. care și-a "predat" cu plăcere unghiile pentru experimentare, vă prezint azi manichiura cu numărul patru, reprezentând țărișoara noastră.

Happy Friday everyone! As I was saying yesterday on my Facebook page (make sure you LIKE it so you can keep up with my posts ^^) starting from now on I'll be joining The Nail Challenge Collaborative's monthly themes, where we have to create four different manicures at each theme, spreaded throughout the month; fun, right? So this month's theme is Around the world - I for one always avoided this theme in different challenges, until now! when I decided I should give it a try.

Twirled french

Hello!

Today I have for you a french manicure with a twist - it's super colorful and fun ^^ It's not hard to achieve this look but you need a little bit of patience and some regular french strips. Below you'll find some explicative photos on how you should do it. Now let's see what I'm talking about:

Azi am pentru voi o manichiură french mai neobișnuită - e foarte colorată și veselă. ^^ Nu e greu de executat dar aveți nevoie de puțină răbdare și de niște benzi speciale pentru acest tip de manichiură.

Valentine's day series - The Sweet Sweetheart!

I feel sorry I didn't get this post on time but I had a busy day :( And on top of that my nails are not that fantastic I did them in a hurry so go easy on me today.
I don't know if you could call it a Valentine's Day manicure per say but when I thought of the theme wich is The Sweetheart I knew that she must be a nice sensible girl which plays by the rules and doesn't stand out much. So that been said here's what I came up with:

Pretty please forgive my cuticules I did the photos first then cleaned and moisturized them. Sorry about that it won't happen again, prrrrromise!!

Stiu ca din nou sunteti ocupate cu altfel de pregatiri, asta e farmecul acestei perioade, acel entuziasm cand stim ca urmeaza sa se intample ceva frumos si iti faci planuri si te gandesti la o gramada de chestii....sa nu uiti aia, sa faci aia, e o perioada agitata, ce mai!

N-am sa va rapesc mult din timp :D am folosit o baza alba si apoi un lac sclipicios, de fapt doua, unul cu glitter si unul cu paiete hexagonale.
