Different Shades of Blue Challenge - Rainbows

Hello lovelies!

Today is another special day for my blog ^^ I've recently joined a Facebook group and the ladies over there are so welcoming and lovely. I'm glad that from now on I'll be able to participate to different challenges and I'm sure that it will improve my nail art skills a bit. So currently the Different Shades of Blue Challenge is taking place and today's theme is rainbows. I've missed the first theme because of the flu and it's frustrating 'cause I had a pretty idea. Anyways, here is my manicure:

This watercolor technique is growing on me, you can get some pretty interesting effects with it. In this particular manicure I wanted to emulate the sky.

Hei girls!

I guess spring has not made it's way through us yet. I really like sunny days so this cloudy weather is kinda wearing me down, you can see that in today's nails. This Saturday's theme is inspired by a book and I have to admit that I'm a cheater. :)) I've almost literally transposed the title to my nails and I haven't read the book yet, I've borrowed it from the library yesterday and I'm going to...promise! So I was "inspired" by "Fifty Shades of Grey" - E.L. James, by the title to be exact, I've heard that it's a bit controversial but I will give it a go. ^^

Se pare că primăvara nu și-a făcut aparitia și pe la noi încă. Iubesc zilele însorite așa că vremea asta mohorâtă mă cam deprimă, după cum se poate vedea și pe unghiuțele de azi.

Illusory shades of pink - Contest entry

Hello ladies!

I was saying a while ago that I'll try to write my posts in both languages (romanian & english), although I know it'll be more time consuming I think it's better this way plus I'm showing a little national spirit.

Vă spuneam acum ceva timp că voi incerca să scriu  în ambele limbi( română  și engleză), deși știu că îmi va lua mai mult timp cred că e mai bine așa, dau  și eu dovada de puțin spirit național. 

Now that things are on the right track concerning me I can focus more on my blog, be more hardworking and I'm hoping to get done all the projects I had in mind.

Watercolor and roses - First attempt!

Hello ladies!

Since I'm a student I hate the months of January and February, it's all about exams and stressful stuff :( I'm complaining again and I haven't even started yet...
But luckily I have something to cheer me up, yep my nail art, sweet loved obssesion :D
For today's mani I've tried two new techniques, as you can see I'm still a newbie. So for the watercolor wanna be technique I've watched this >tutorial< and for those horribly wanna be roses :)) I've watched this >one<
