Valentine's Day ~ Dark Hearts

Hello lovebirds!

So Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I thought I should do something themed appropriate. And as I've said before, sometimes I'm a "rebel"  who wants to break the rules therefore, todays nails aren't your typical VDay inspiration. This is how I feel about it this year, but don't worry I'm thinking of all of you so later this week I will post a lovely watermarble, more apropiate for the celebration of love.

So my lovelies, Valentine's Day is just around the corner and it seems like the entire nail art blogosphere is full of ideas for this occasion, nontheless I wanted to show you what I'm going to wear this year and that would be Golden Rose Jolly Jewels #121. It's a gorgeous red, perfect for such occasion. I just love it!

I was saying a while ago that I'll try to write my posts in both languages (romanian & english), although I know it'll be more time consuming I think it's better this way plus I'm showing a little national spirit.

Vă spuneam acum ceva timp că voi incerca să scriu  în ambele limbi( română  și engleză), deși știu că îmi va lua mai mult timp cred că e mai bine așa, dau  și eu dovada de puțin spirit național. 

Now that things are on the right track concerning me I can focus more on my blog, be more hardworking and I'm hoping to get done all the projects I had in mind.

Valentine's Day Series - My vision of love

So hello ladies!

I'm again fashionably late I'm sorry for that, again but all would be over soon and I will be able to dedicate more time for this blog ^^ So let's talk about my vision of love now...well I was going to make some really cute newspaper nails with a special dedication actually but I didn't like how those came out so I ended up with this design below wich is rather simple yet elegant.

I've used a darker shade of red - Farmasi #47 (which I just love) and on the index fingers I've combined Essence - Make it golden (#67) with a Chissa #204. Then with a template I made those cute hearts ^^ and then of course added the rhinestones and the microbeads.

I have to admit I wanted to skip this one and redirect you to this one. I still am short on time so my mani isn't elaborate or wow material...it's cute and childish which is what was supposed to be in the first place right?

Since I'm pretty stressed out I couldn't come up with something cooler than this. But if you add a little something from you I'm sure you can create a cute mani.

Valentine's Day Series - The Unreachable

I'm glad you're still here with me reading my ramblings. I thought I should thank you all from time to time for your constance presence. Even though I don't always deliver my posts in time with the other girls (go easy on me ^^) I do my best to do some nail art that will wow you so you'll forget my delay.

Going back to the theme - I think this unreachable girl is very powerful and she's playing hard to get so Vday isn't something she celebrates.

Time really flys by me, it's already February and the middle of my Valentine's Day series which I'm really glad I'm not doing it alone ^^

Today's turn is of the broken hearted girl, well is this supposed to be a sad theme? If you think of what a broken hearted girl feels and how Valentine's Day goes by....yes. But instead of going down that road I thought let's think of what this girl needs (maybe I'm wrong and what I going to propose is far from truth but bear with me) and I guess she would like roses and some apologies from that special someone.

Valentine's day series - The Sweet Sweetheart!

I feel sorry I didn't get this post on time but I had a busy day :( And on top of that my nails are not that fantastic I did them in a hurry so go easy on me today.
I don't know if you could call it a Valentine's Day manicure per say but when I thought of the theme wich is The Sweetheart I knew that she must be a nice sensible girl which plays by the rules and doesn't stand out much. So that been said here's what I came up with:

Pretty please forgive my cuticules I did the photos first then cleaned and moisturized them. Sorry about that it won't happen again, prrrrromise!!

Valentine's day series - The princess (reloaded)

As promised today is the proper beginning of the Valentine's day series. At first I thought I would do the series alone but I got a proposal (from I am different when my nails are done) to do a collaboration and I thought why not, it would be a fun project.

I know I have done two themes already and I didn't want to do new ones but then I thought that the first design is not up to the expectations worthy of a princess so here's my new design.

There's no time pressure, you post when you can. As you all can see I came up with just 6 themes you're welcome to do more. And of course the Series ends on Valentine's day :)

Valentine's day series - The Sweetheart

As promised, today I'm showing you a new mani The Sweetheart as I like to call it, if you wonder where are the hearts well...there aren't any because I thought maybe there are some of you who don't like hearts drawn on your nails, but this mani still  remains appropiate for that special day, right? :)

This design is super easy you just need a doting tool or a ballpoint pen (make sure it doesn't write anymore) and you just place dots.

Valentine's day series - The princess

Hello!

I can't wait for my exams to be over!! I have so many ideas for this blog and I cannot wait to put the in practice, unfortunately I can do that only next month :(
So my posts will be relatively short and only in english but as soon as I'm done with my exams I will write in romanian too; I don't want my fellows to think I'm not a good patriot :)) besides...I can easily express myself in my mother tongue..obvious :P But to write in both languages takes time, something that I really don't have right now.

That been said I will TRY (emphasize on try) to create a Valentine's day series.

Hello dears!

So today will be a quick post again, the pressure of the exams is getting to me, so I won't be so active :(
But I'll still try to show you my manis, even some swatches because these days I'm keepin it simple. So I promised you on Facebook that I will show you something peachy...well I wanted to present to you all a new technique but I didn't get the chance to make the tutorial but it's the first thing on my list..promise!
So today's mani is with a shade that I absolutely loooove, of course my camera couldn't catch it (I'll try tomorrow on daylight). Enough chit chat now :D
