Throwback - My favorite nail art and the most productive period

Hello ladies!

Last week I took part in a challenge and it reminded me of my glorious days :)) I was most productive when I was participating at no more than 3 challenges at a time. I was quite the busy bee and I loved it! But having to come up with some many designs and having to stick to a timeline it took a tool on me eventually. By the time the university started I felt like I needed a break and so I quietly stepped out of the challenges world. And almost two years later here I am ^_^

So Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I thought I should do something themed appropriate. And as I've said before, sometimes I'm a "rebel"  who wants to break the rules therefore, todays nails aren't your typical VDay inspiration. This is how I feel about it this year, but don't worry I'm thinking of all of you so later this week I will post a lovely watermarble, more apropiate for the celebration of love.

Hello my dears!

I've read somewhere that the trends this year say that nail accessories like studs and 3D decorations are out, but I don't agree with that! That would mean I shouldn't were these pretties and that would be a shame. I actually don't always follow trends and neither should you, they are more guidelines than rules. I wear whatever makes me feel good and comfortable! Of course that reminds me: one should get out of his/her comfort zone from time to time.

Born Pretty Store Review: A hot accent on a cold mani

Hei girls!

After whining a lot about this crappy weather and longing for hot summer days spent on a beach with an icy drink in our hand, I decided it was about time to embrace autumn with its ups and downs, surely I don't need to mention the "downs" we pretty much know the moody rains and sunless days. As in concern to the "ups", autumn always reminds me of my childhood, when I would gather bouqets of leaves to take them to my mom or collect chestnuts for no reason. Fall has its charm, it's the season of juicy apples and grapes, of hot chocolate and cozy sweaters, so yeah, I'm planning to enjoy all that and forget about the nasty weather. How about you?

The theme of the Mish Mash Challenge - cold - goes perfectly with this time of year, but I didn't get ahead of myself as I wanted to do a review of some studs that I received from Born Pretty Store.

When I first started this blog the main thought was to have fun so when I began to feel a slight pressure because of the challenges I decided to take it slow and do only the themes that appeal to me. That beeing said I've missed  Monday's TTC theme - sugar spun because I did one recently (you can see it here Sugar spun topping ~ first attempt) and I'm skipping today's Mish Mash Challenge theme - least expensive because I have no idea what I could've done with my cheapest nail polish.

Când am început blogul, ideea principală era să fie distractiv, apoi când a apărut puțină presiune din cauza provocărilor, m-am decis să o iau mai ușor și să particip doar la temele care-mi plac.

Have a great Sunday! As I was saying in my previous post I've joined a new challenge. I know, I know I'm currently in two, this is the third and from Saturday I'm starting a new one! Me gotta love challenges! They do keep me sharp, I'm posting more often and I'm picking my brains out at some themes but I love it :)) So anyways I'm hoping you, my dear readers aren't bother by this, on the plus side you have a ton of inspiration at each post by just visiting the ladies participating at this challenges.

Pastel gradient - Collaboration

Due to an unexpected trip to the countryside my post for last Saturday's collaboration remained unfinished. Then the following days I got swamped with work so I decided it will be better to postpone it until this Saturday to have a little consistency with the 31 weeks collaboration.

Datorită unei călătorii neașteptate, postarea mea pentru Sâmbăta trecută a rămas neterminată. Apoi, în zilele ce au urmat am fost aglomerată cu munca așa că, m-am decis că ar fi mai bine să amân postarea pentru Sâmbăta asta, ca să aibă consecvență cu celelalte manichiuri din cadrul colaborării de 31 de săptămâni.

The theme was gradient and for this mani I got inspired by my favourite earings.

KKCenterHk Review - Vintage roses vs. studs

Hello ladies!

Though we have like the worst weather for this time of year I'm actually pretty excited because I love love looove how my mani turned out! And that is certainly a mood changer ^^

Deși avem cea mai urâtă vreme posibilă pentru această perioadă, eu totuși sunt foarte încântată deoarece îmi place mult de tot cum mi-a ieșit manichiura! Și acest lucru poate, cu siguranță, să-mi schimbe starea de spirit.^^

It's the first time I've worked with shading and highlighting and I'm very pleased with the result. I'm sure that with more practice the designs will look even better.

I wonder how you've been lately! I for one missed blogging and doing nails of course, it has been too long since I've done some nail art and I kinda miss it. But today I won't be showing you any of that! Instead you'll be seeing a gorgeous shade of yellow (which I think it's perfect for summer).

Mă întreb ce ați mai făcut în ultima vreme! Mie mi-a fost dor de blog și de făcut unghii. A trecut destul de mult timp de când n-am mai făcut nici un model și totuși astăzi nu vă voi arăta nimic de felul acesta. În schimb veți vedea o nuanță superbă de galben (care cred eu, că e perfectă pentru vară).

The yellow shade is Astor - Yellow Buttercup #240 and you need two coats to reach full coverage but because the polish it's rather thick I've used a layer of white polish then one layer of this beauty. To spice things up a little I've used some triangle shaped studs, which I just love. They're black and perfect! 

KKCenterHk Review - Studded flowers

Hello ladies!

Today I have for you a different kind of post, a review of some studs from KKCenterHk. These are my first studs and I'm very excited to use them. I guess when we all see studs we think of that rocker chick style, well that's no really my style so I've sweeten the mani as you can see in the pictures below.
