Different Shades of Blue Challenge - Ruffian (First attempt)

Hello ladies!

It's time for a new manicure from the Different Shades of Blue Challenge. I hope you aren't getting tired of so much blue but think that it's for a good cause i.e. autism awareness. So todays theme is blue ruffian and I was very excited about it because I have never tried this design before on my nails and I was quite curious how it would look because of the shape of my nails (which is not that straight).
It's quite easy to achieve this look you first have to paint your nails white then place the french strips near the cuticules, then add the blue and you're done.
I've chosen this method because the blue polish was rather jelly-ish but you can do it the other way around. It's not very visibile in the photos but I've free-handed a pattern on the white stripe just to mix things up a little. It looks way better to the naked eye (bad photos - story of my life or should I say blog). I'm very pleased with the result because it's eye catchy and interesting, sorry if the photos contradict me :))
Anyways, I love how it looks and you will definetly see more designs here. ^^
