Hello ladies!

I hope you all had a wonderful time this Christmas! As usual, I was so busy before the holidays, that I didn't get the chance to prepare a post with my Christmas nails; you actually didn't miss much as I wore a simple red manicure.
Let's focus on more pressing matters, the New Year's Eve nails. It is an ocassion were glamour and "bling" should be mandatory; just for the fun of it, if you're not a fan of such things. Of course you should feel special even without these tricks, but if they're at your disposal why not use them? So for NYE go all out! Make-up, nails, clothes, hair, etc. make them shine! But don't get me wrong, don't light yourself up like a Christmas tree, keep it classsy ^^

I'm keeping my promises so today I'm going to show you the last nail polish I own from the 2013 A/W Collection by Farmec. It is quite a shade, it's unique in my collection so yeah...this one is special too. These types of finishes are starting to grow on me, I don't really know how to call them...chromes, metalics, help me out girls!

I have something special for you today! A gorgeous shade of nail polish, from a local brand named Farmec, their headquarters are right here in my city so yeah... I'm being supportive of local bussinesses. Although it's a local brand they are present internationally, here's where you can find out if they're available in your country (Farmec-Distribution).
This particular one is included in Farmec's A/W 2013 Collection and it's called Silent Night. It's a deep blue with metalic irizations and purple highlights, so depending on the light, you have blue nails or a combination of blue'ish purple nails. It definetly is a chameleonic shade - that's why it's so special. Wearing it, your nails will have an elegant and sophisticated look; just perfect for the upcoming holidays, right?

It seems like the weather is treating us well; it's so warm & fuzzy in my neck of the woods, that it would be perfect to sit on a porch somewhere with some steamy hot chocolate beside me, just enjoying the sun. But...I'm drowning in midterms so yeah I'm day dreaming, nonetheless I'm determined to not let that get in the way of a weekly manicure; and even if I'm not showing you something extraordinary, maybe it'll be the nail polishes that will "woo" you.

I'm pretty psyched of today's manicure, the outcome has exceeded my expectations. You know why? Because working with glitters is always fun, you think you know how everything will "go down" but you end up surprising yourself. It may seem that pairing this particular glitter with a nude it's a no brainer but honestly it looks like they belong together. With that in mind I'm planning to combine this copper glitter with the most unexpected shades you could think off, just to see how it would work. I've been playing on the safe side for too long, it's time for some real action!

Long time no see, ladies! I will start by apologizing for the unannounced hiatus, but other things got in the way of this beloved hobby. Doing intricate designs is a pleasure in which I haven't indulged in quite a while; the university and sometimes work is keeping me very busy. With that being sad I don't know if I'm back for good, so no promises.

You know that feeling when you really must have a certain colour on your nails? That's how I've felt lately regarding red. I wanted to see it on my nails asap! I've tried of course a couple of times but my reds were out of shape, gluey and thick and they all "wonderfully" bubbled up on me.

Hei there!

I wasn't planning to post today as I'm swamped with projects and stuff for the uni but some recent events gave me the perfect incetive for a quick post. Unfortunately I won't be able to post more often until my exams are over so hang in there for another month or so, I'll be back, I promise!
The events that I was mentioning are the sudden realization that a month has past since my last post and a lovely comment that made me realize that some of you are still reading my blog and it kinda made my day! Aaand I just did my nails about 10 minutes ago, so here they are...

...Just a simple yet electrifying shade, perfect with this lovely weather we're having lately and to be honest it really does pop and brightens my mood. I only needed one coat to reach full opacity and that's rather rare so I'm very pleased with this particular nail polish - Golden Rose #79, its consistency is fluid and really easy to work with. I hope you like it!

Look closer to my lavander

Hello ladies!

It's been far to long since my last post, but I was having "writer's block" or should I say nail polish addict's block :)). I succeded to ruin/smudge each manicure I've tried lately or my nail polish would simply make those horrible bubbles, so as you can see my frustration grew higher and higher until I gave up painting my nails altogether. After getting bored of my bare nails I said to myself this is not the way my hobby should "die", so here I am, getting back on the horse, picking up the pieces of my adrift blog. I still love painting my nails, doing pretty, feminine designs and that's what I plan to do, no pressure, just fun!

The most wonderful season of the year is here and it's actually nearly over, but better late then never! So let it rain with pastels and love! I've heard that radiant orchid is this years official colour and the lavander/lilac are also right up that alley. Purple and its variations have always been my favorites and now I have the perfect excuse to wear them, excessively! But don't worry I'll try not to bore you!

So, it snowed here, in Cluj! Actually, my timing is a little off 'cause it snowed last week, now it's so sunny it feels like summer.... this weather! Anyways, I was waiting for this so I could "crack" open this bottle of nail polish that was sitting unused since last summer. I thought it would go perfectly with the snow outside, but what do you know it melted already! Great!

Tonight I'll be as brief as I can! I'm a bit moody, I had an exam today...you know how it is! I wore this manicure for almost a week, so that's something and the best part is that I had only minimal tip wear (but I'll have to admit I didn't do chores or any stuff at all, I was studying) so this nail polish didn't go through "hell" to proof its strength.

KKCenterHK review - Luxuriant flowers

If you're wondering why I chose this particular title, or maybe you're not but I felt the need to explain myself anyhow. These water decals, because that's what they are (I'm not that talented to freehand something like that) make me think of a tropical forest, hence the term luxuriant vegetation/flowers or lush. I have to confess, this mani made me stare at my nails ceaselessly (I sometimes use google translate=> strange words :)) )

My "mojo's" back! Sort of, if at the end of last year I was feeling uninspired and in no mood for blogging this month is quite the opposite. As a result, I've joined yet again to The Nail Challenge Collaborative, after a few months of absence. The theme for January is inspired by a tutorial, it's a really cool subject and the amount of tutorials out there is incredible. There are a few blogs I like to follow and Paulina's Passions is one of them. She has this beautiful manicure and a tutorial for it called Roses Nail Art Tutorial. You should check it out, it was my inspiration for this manicure, altough hers are sublime, mine need a little more practice.
